My relationships with others have always been incredibly important to me, and my biggest goal was always to find an SO who I loved and loved me back so we could just be happy and share our times together. People told me that if I was disgusted by "the do", I could never find that love. That love was just sexual hormones, and without "the do" people would stop loving each other. That I would be alone. Forever. The concept wasn't widely known and the word wasn't mainstream. I rejected it. I got myself hurt. I want ya'll to know that you are loved, you are not alone, and plenty of people are totally understanding and they're growing in number. You don't have to be afraid like I was. You won't die alone. You will find happiness. Everything will be okay. You may come across some difficulties along the way, people who won't accept who you are or who simply aren't able to manage with it. That's okay. That means they weren't for you and you'll find someone who is. We all go through breakups for one reason or another, and this doesn't necessarily mean you'll go through more. One of my favorite aspects if the asexual community is that thereâs such a wide variety of preferences. Me, personally, I like kisses and love, and I might be more demisexual or something (I donât care about titles) but either way, for now I am a part of this community because Iâd rather just not. And then I see people who donât want any romantic attraction, which is different from me but still valid.

Yes, if someone don't feel sexual attraction towards anyone or anything of the sort it's asexual. Kissing isn't sexual, it'd be more on the romantic side. Asexual is no sexual attraction, Aromantic is no romantic attraction! They get mixed up all the time, which is a little annoying to me as a demisexual.. Hope I explained it in a nonconfusing way-
